Activity

-Review “How to” breath (inhale mouthing the word "how" to allow for an efficient, open passage for air to pass through, and exhaling on "too" to reinforce tonguing techniques on instruments)
-Breathe in for 4, 2, then 1, out for 20 (separately then continuous)
-Add instruments, repeat exercise

Play all 12 major scales through a 5th interval sequence
-Play Bb major scale
-Brass/woodwinds tune separately

-Play it as written
-Split class into 3 groups; each group plays a phrase of the chorale and passes it to another group
-Pass phrase every 4, 2, then 1 measures.
